The clients approached us to add stairs and handrails to an existing deck. The clients requested a combination of steel and glass. We sketched out a few different combinations of spindles, reviewed glass clips and thicknesses as well as different post and handrails. We then prototyped different materials and layouts until we reached a combination that our clients were happy with. The forged double basket spindles were added to contrast the clean cut lines of the tempered glass.
