This collaborative project brought the best of two worlds together. The forged and fabricated iron base was water jet from 3/8" plate steel and the armatures and connection details were hand forged to some hand crafted detail. The Table top is 2 5/8" slab of live edge maple finished to perfection with the contrasting bow ties to controll any potential warpage .
